Our Realistic Vue ultrasound provides very clear images of your baby's gender, along with their heartbeat and due date. Every appointment is completely private — absolutely no waiting, it's just you and your family in the studio, with no other patients before or after you. If your baby isn't in a good position straight away, we take the time needed to wait until we get a clear view — you won't leave without knowing.
At the end of your appointment, we transfer your images and video clips straight to your phone so you can share the news with family and friends the moment you walk out the door.

A gender scan is a black-and-white scan that focuses on confirming whether you're having a boy or a girl, along with your baby's heartbeat and due date. A 4D/5D scan is a longer, more detailed bonding experience, captured live in colour, showing your baby's face, movements and expressions. You can also book both together with our Combined Gender + 4D/5D Scan.
As long as it takes to confidently determine the gender, check the heartbeat and due date, and capture pictures and video of your baby. Depending on your baby's position, this typically takes anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes.
There's no such thing as not being able to find out the gender at Early Image — you won't leave until we know, no matter how long it takes.
Yes — our Combined Gender Scan and Live 4D/5D Realistic Vue Scan lets you find out your baby's gender and get detailed bonding images and video in the one appointment. This combined scan is $325 for a single baby, or $450 for twins or more.

Yes — Early Image is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, so you can book a time that fits your schedule. Evening, overnight and public holiday appointments incur a $150 surcharge; weekend daytime appointments have no surcharge.

After failed attempts to find out my baby's gender at other ultrasound imaging places Early Image was able to confirm I was having a beautiful baby boy. The service provided was calming, friendly and patient as my baby wasn't co-operating at the beginning and wouldn't give us a clear look. I was able to get a copy of every image taken and they were very clear. I would highly recommend Early Image!
Attended with my husband on Saturday to have our gender scan and we honestly could not have walked out with bigger smiles on our faces! David was super accommodating from the start — we were running late due to traffic and he still made sure we had the best experience we could have wished for. He made us both feel extremely comfortable during the whole appointment, and no matter how many questions I asked, he was always willing to answer.
